About Me

iPhoneography
This blog is dedicated to show my passion for iPhoneography and also to use it as a test platform for pictures created just for testing new apps or new updates and refresh my memory on different features some particular app might have. All the pictures are from iPhone only and edited with an iPad mini, or not edited at all, depending on the mood. I have to say I struggle to edit on the iPhone only because I care about my eyes and my eyesight, but I switched from an iPad to a mini and it’s just fine for me and more comfortable.
I’ve founded also italianeography.com, the main italian blog about smartphone photography, where I often write and publish news about this environment.
Languages
Personally, I like languages as a tool for interacting with people from different countries around the world. I’m fluent in Italian, of course, and also English, French and Spanish. The first comes from my origins, precisely from the North West of Italy, in Turin, close to the Alps and France, if you remember the 2006 Winter Olympics. And I learnt the others directly living in UK (Bristol, Rugby, London), France (Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, Nantes) and Ecuador (Guayaquil, Quito). Now, I’ve started to learn German (God help me!), I’m just at the beginning but it’s quite fun, for now.
Work
I’ve collected a lot of experience, as manager or employee, in different environment such as commerce, sale, customer care and tourism, so that I suppose my attitude fit well in the middle of all of this. I like to help people giving them advices about anything I might be good at. If I know something, I’m happy to share and help. And that’s the same for customers or colleagues. I never stop learning, maybe because I’m curious, maybe because I’m a quick learner or maybe just because as they say: the more you learn, the more you realize how little you know…
Studies
With an old high school diploma in electronics, a bunch of languages certificates, an old photography certificate, lots of books in the middle, and a quietly new degree in Tourist Administration, sometimes I feel as Dante once wrote: “In the middle of the journey of our life I found myself within a dark woods where the straight way was lost”. Well, it’s not completely lost, remember the German? Gosh!
Now
So, this blog is just to free my hidden creativity for the passion on iPhoneography and, you know what, sometimes I might publish some paintings as well. Yes, because as my father is a talented but lazy painter, I’ve decided to ask him to teach me something about it, but I’ve finished for practicing by myself the most of the time, after all, he’s an artist inside! Now I’m approaching the water painting technique and it’s quite fun and relaxing, almost as a Reiki session. But for some reason, someone told me that I should teach something, so as I keep seeing my parents and their friends struggling with their computers, I’ve decided to create a course for the people like them, for teaching them how not to panic in front of each pop-up they might see. Just in the extra time of course.
Keep in Touch!
I’ve decided to shut down the general social networks I had before. So you can write me here, also using the contact form, contact me on linkedin, follow me on the new Oggl and follow this blog by RSS or email (automatic system managed by wordpress.com). At the bottom of this page you have what you need.
Thank you for stopping by.
